Keepsake Box

This box is made from hand planed curly maple wood that is joined together with hand cut dovetails. The lid is connected with wire wound hinges that I make in my shop. The box is elevated on bracketed feet that give it a classic look.  It is stained a dark brown and coated with a hand rubbed oil/varnish finish with a top coat of wax.
